Skills and Experience

Sabrina Hart is the Regional Executive for the Midwest Region at Zurich North America. In this role, she is responsible for all market execution and business operations in the region. In addition to leading the Regional Leadership Team in the Midwest, she oversees the regional Marketing, Distribution & Regional Management staff in achieving profitability and growth targets through customer and distribution strategies. She has been with Zurich since 1997.


Prior to her current role, Hart was the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Global Corporate in North America (GCiNA), where she oversaw the underwriting of all corporate lines of business and was responsible for the management of all market-facing underwriting business functions. She has also held roles as GCiNA Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Risk Operations within the Group Risk Management at Zurich Financial Services in Switzerland. Before joining Zurich, she worked at Marsh USA in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served as Vice President and Southeast Healthcare Practice Leader.


External appointments

Hart currently serves on the Board of Governors at St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business Academy of Risk Management and Insurance and the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina. She also serves on the boards of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University, and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Midwest, where she serves as the Board chair.


Educational background

Hart earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She also has a certificate in strategic management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
